Nicolas Kim

Biography

Nicolas Kim is interested in discrete statistical problems and algorithms. More specifically, in local algorithms for network analysis, the application of algebraic geometry to statistical models, and evaluation of disclosure avoidance methodology for the Census Bureau. Nicolas is also passionate about the purely functional programming language Haskell, his custom Vim and xmonad setups, Rubik's Cubes, and Argentinian food. Before joining the Department of Statistics, he received his BA in Mathematics from Boston University.
